Drunk driver evading cops crashes into vehicle carrying kindergarten teacher, husband & mom killing all 3 of them

A drunk driver trying to flee police officers had caused a deadly crash that claimed the lives of a kindergarten teacher, her elderly mom, and her husband early Tuesday.

Karina Diaz, 49, Adalberto Hernandez Cereijo, and Elena Chacon Diaz, 75, died following the collision that occurred at around 6 a.m. in South Miami.

Suspect Rodney Rodriguez was reportedly drunk behind the wheel of a Range Rover when he crashed into the victims’ Kia sending it plunging into a pole.

    “Ms. Karina was a passionate toddler teacher,” the Creative Learning Center where Diaz worked said in a statement.

    “Not many can handle working with 2-year-olds. She gave the children the foundation of what they needed to continue to their next developmental level. She did this with love and respect to each child’s needs and individuality. Our school is in mourning.”
