Tennessee authorities have charged a woman and her boyfriend in connection with the April death of her infant son Tuesday following months of a thorough investigation.

Ashley Jaira McCamey, 21, and Brandon Michael Marsh, 28, were “caring” for 10-month-old Kade Jackson Paris on April 22 when he died.

Authorities declined to reveal details surrounding the baby’s death but his biological father, Jack Paris, told local news outlets that he was working when he received the grim news.
