“Law & Order” star Isaiah Stokes is facing criminal charges after he was accused of fatally shooting a 37-year-old man in his car.
Police said that the 41-year-old ambushed victim Tyrone Jones last February as he sat in his parked Jeep in Jamaica, Queens.
Stokes fired several shots at the victim killing him. Surveillance footage caught Stokes shooting Jones 11 times through the driver’s side window.
Police added that Jones died instantly after sustaining gunshot wounds to the head and face. It’s believed the shooting stemmed from a previous feud over Jones’ girlfriend.
“The defendant is accused of unloading nearly eleven shots during this brazen afternoon shooting,” Queens DA Melinda Katz said.
“Gun violence is all too prevalent in our neighborhoods. We will not allow it become the norm.”
