A Dothan couple was found dead at their home late Wednesday when authorities conducted a wellness check on them.
Tuesehn Lam, 35-year-old, is believed to have fatally shot his 30-year-old wife Allie Helms Lam before killing himself, police said.
At a Thursday news conference, Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza specified that officers responded to a welfare request at around 10 p.m.

A concerned relative told police that Lam, who worked as a dental assistant, was not answering calls.
“It’s a sad situation when you have something like this happen,” Valenza said.
“However, we’re going to do our job and complete the investigation and turn our findings over to the district attorney.”
