Tennessee infant died of starvation despite 3-year-old sister attempts to feed him as mom layed dead of drug-overdose

Tennessee authorities forced entry to a locked Portland home to find a tragic scene last February with two dead bodies of a mom and infant along with a starved toddler running around them.

Nicholas Crowder died of starvation, dehydration, and lack of care after the sudden passing of his 32-year-old mom Tiffany Spears.

  • The 15-year-old was still strapped into a car seat when found dead on February 9. Detectives suggested the baby’s 3-year-old sister had tried to feed him eggs.

    An autopsy revealed that the mom had been dead for days of a drug overdose. Lethal levels of meth and fentanyl were found in her blood.
