'Chaotic shooting' leaves 3 dead, 8 injured at Youngstown, Ohio bar

Ohio authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that left three people dead and as many as eight others injured at a Youngstown bar early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the Torch Club Bar & Grille at around 2 a.m. over reports of an active shooting situation.

Preliminary information revealed an argument turned violent near the bar that ultimately led to “an exchange of gunfire.”

    The injured victims were rushed to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital in unknown conditions.

    Following the “chaotic and tragic” event, Mayor Jamael Tito Brown said that violence “just continues to pull at my heart.”

    “It is not easy for me to get the call in the middle of the night from the chief or one of his team to tell me about incidents like this, and it pains me.”
