A shootout between rival gangs in Minneapolis claimed the life of a 6-year-old girl after her mom drove through it early this week.
It happened Monday when Aniya Allen and her mom were heading to their home after spending the day swimming and shopping.
Their relatives and loved ones gathered in the hospital since the tragedy unfolded.

Aniya who suffered at least one bullet wound to the head was declared dead Wednesday, officials said.
“I just went from sad to mad. Right now all I want to know is who did this,” the girl’s activist grandmother, K.G. Wilson wrote on Facebook.
During the course of 15 days, three Minneapolis children under the age of 10 were randomly gunned down.
