Nelson County news, Kentucky news.

A Kentucky suspect had to pull over and get arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase because he had no gas left in the tank.

Steven Alford, 47, was spotted traveling 143 mph, which is double the speed limit, Saturday afternoon on Bluegrass Parkway.

Authorities chased his bright yellow 2015 Ford Mustang for a while before he deliberately pulled over, after running out of gas.
