Four men have been charged in connection with a bloody murder after Long Island authorities found a woman dead in a car trunk Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Nazareth Tamer-Claure, a Queens mom of an 8-year-old boy. Prosecutors revealed Friday that it was her MS-13 member boyfriend and his partners who perpetrated her murder.
Gruesome details emerged during the suspects’ arraignment. Prosecutors said that Tamer-Claure was just granted a protection order against her boyfriend, 28-year-old Anander Henriquez, after he choked her earlier this month.
Fellow gang-member Allan Sergio Lopez, 22, and Jose Sarmiento, 21, hacked at the woman with machetes until she died while a third man, Rigel Yohairo, 20, beat her with a baseball bat.
A fourth suspect, Rodolfo Lopez, 26, helped put her body wrapped in a blanket in the trunk.
All suspects except him were denied bond. The victim’s boyfriend was arrested for the choking incident since he had not taken part in the slaying.
