Raleigh Police have no clues who murdered a Tech College student inside her locked bedroom

A hardworking North Carolina College student was found dead inside her locked bedroom Sunday night, two days after she celebrated her 20th birthday.

Raleigh Police ruled Christina Maria Matos’s death a homicide but still have no clues about who may be behind the crime.

Matos’s parents called 911 one day after losing contact with their daughter.

They said that they called her and knocked at her door several times but to no avail.

    Prior to her death, she was working as a waitress; her parents said adding that on her birthday Friday, she sounded happy on the phone.

    “Who killed her?” Matos’ grieving dad wondered. “They have to go to jail. They have to pay for the damage they made in our family.”
