Outrage after Chicago Police shot and killed teen, 13, during apprehension

A Chicago teen died from a gunshot wound in the chest Monday during an “armed confrontation” with cops, officials said.

According to the coroner’s office, the 13-year-old boy was identified as Adam Toledo.

Police responded to a call reporting a shooting in a Little Village alley where they confronted the teen who had a gun at the time along with Ruben Roman, 21.

The pair tried to flee the scene before one cop discharged his gun, killing Toledo.

    “He was a little boy. Obviously, he was gonna get scared.

    “He was so full of life. They just took it away from him.”

    The Civilian Office of Police Accountability is investigating the incident, according to reports.
