New London news, Connecticut news.

Connecticut authorities said that a New London mother had repeatedly told cops that she strangled her 4-year-old son and was “so excited” over it.

David Jasmin was found dead earlier this month at the family home with his 33-year-old mother Tiffany Farrauto telling people outside the building about how she murdered him and filled his mouth with CBD gummies.

“I did it. I did it! I just killed my son…I’m so excited about it, too. I never thought I would do that,” Farrauto allegedly told cops on the way to the police headquarters.

“Whatever happened she must have just had no control,” Farrauto’s mom said. “She never would have hurt him if she was in her right mind. She never hurt anyone.”

Farrauto was ordered to serve 60 days at Whiting Forensic Hospital after mental health experts ruled her unfit to stand trial.
