Albany news, New York news.

An Albany man stands accused of kidnapping and abandoning a couple who lived at his home because he wasn’t entitled to kick them out before May, police said.

48-year-old Shawn Douglas allegedly threatened tenants early Sunday, identified only as a 21-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, with the help of two other suspects.

The trio broke into the victims’ room as they slept and at gunpoint covered their faces with pillowcases and drove them away to an abandoned cemetery.
