Agents of the Butler County Bomb Unit were relieved Thursday when they discovered that a suspicious bag they were about to investigate had a momma cat and her 6 newborn kittens inside.

“There was a momma cat and her 6 one day old babies in a bag,” the Sheriff’s Office said adding that the package was abandoned at a church.

There was a note left with the feline family reading: “Sprinkles went into labor yesterday 2/17.”
