Several pregnant women reported receiving trolling messages from anti-vaxxers accusing them of killing their unborn babies with the Covid jab.
The CDC had however maintained that there was no known risk for pregnant women to get inoculated even though the vaccines were actually not tested on pregnant women.
Health officials concluded that the vaccine is “unlikely to pose a specific risk for people who are pregnant,” a claim supported by Dr. Anthony Fauci who confirmed that among 20,000 pregnant women that were inoculated against the illness, none reported complications.
One of the targeted women, Michelle Rockwell, said that the message was so “heartbreaking that she definitely shed some tears over it.”
“Dec 21st she got it. On Jan 24th, she lost her baby. Another one,” the message reads.
Rockwell commented: “To attack women who’ve gone through so much, that’s just a new low. So many women right now have vaccine hesitancy, and are questioning it, and have legitimate concerns. And I feel like whoever made this is just preying on women’s fears.”
Another victim said she was trolled after losing her baby just days after receiving the Covid jab.
“She got what she deserved. Her husband needs to leave. I wonder if she can be charged for what she did.”
Psychologist Tamar Gur asserted that the fact miscarriage’s causes are often unknown, makes women believe the trolling messages.
“There’s already this journey of self-doubt and anger directed at yourself. For anti-vaxxers to take advantage of someone when they’re in pain, and try to make a woman feel responsible for the loss of her very wanted baby, is just the cruelest thing I could have heard.”
