A group of anti-vaxxers stormed Dodger Stadium hosting a vaccination site Saturday, leading to a temporary shutdown of the facility, Los Angeles news outlets reported.
Police responded to the Elysian Park stadium and forced the protesting crowds to disperse after they blocked the gates to the center, shouting insults and holding signs.
The patients have been waiting for an hour when the mob arrived, forcing them back to their cars where the demonstrators shouted: “your dog are smarter” and “you’re lab rats” at them, insisting that “coronavirus is not real” and pressing their signs against car windows.
“I’ve been waiting for weeks to get an appointment,” a witness said. “I am a dentist; I am taking a big risk being around patients.”
“I want to be safe for my patients and for my family. The vaccine is the only way to beat the virus.”
The Covid deniers were not, however, involved in violent acts but considerably disturbed the vaccination site and verbally abused the patients awaiting their shots.
