Arizona authorities said that a loving mother had sacrificed her life when she continued clinging to a car driven by her baby son’s dad as he abducted him.

Brittany Martie was spotted hanging in a speeding car on Tuesday evening by several witnesses who then called the police.

The mom was loading her 10-month-old son Abel Maes into her vehicle when the baby’s father, Eric Maes, broke into the driver’s seat and sped away.

The 30-year-old woman held on to the car as it sped off in an attempt to stop the abduction but was ultimately thrown on the road, sustaining fatal wounds.
