A Texas man was found assisting a woman on the side of a San Antonio road and it turned out he was the suspect who ran over her.
It took place on Sept. 5 when David Estrada Jr. 30 crashed his pickup truck into his ex-wife Dominga Pesquada, 33, causing her major lacerations on her legs.
When San Antonio Police Officers responded to the crash reports, they found Estrada next to the unresponsive victim trying to help her. Witnesses at the scene told detectives that the involved truck left the scene.
Pesquada did not survive her injuries and died at a local hospital. Authorities later located the black pickup truck that hit her parked around the crash site.
Estrada was charged with murder by intentionally hitting the victim with the pickup truck “thereby causing her death.”
He was booked into the Bexar County Jail after being formally charged this week.
