A 32-year-old man was suddenly shoved onto the subway tracks of a Manhattan station moments before the train’s arrival.
The unidentified victim was waiting for the southbound N train at the Times Square-42nd Street Station at around 8:20 p.m. Thursday when someone pushed him onto the tracks and ran away.
The man managed to get up and climb back onto the platform before the train passed.
He also was lucky to avoid landing on the electrified third rail. He has apparently not been harmed since he refused treatment.
The suspect, who remains at large, was sporting a brown bubble jacket and gray sweatpants.
Similar incidents became recurrent in NYC subways: Last month, a 55-year-old woman suffered a fractured neck and spine when a stranger shoved her into a moving train.
