A Tennessee woman was all smiles in her mugshot right after she entered a guilty plea to two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the March horrific killings of her grandparents.

29-year-old Katelyn Taylor was facing criminal homicide charges after detectives said that they gathered sufficient evidence from the murder scene to prosecute her.

Taylor was spared the death penalty by admitting guilt but was handed two life sentences to be served concurrently. She subsequently won’t be eligible for parole before 2072.

“This agreement of a guilty plea will spare the family of the victims the trauma of having to relive this horrible crime every year or two,” DA Matthew Stowe said.
