Omaha news, Nebraska news.

Two women have died and two men are hospitalized after a huge house explosion that damaged neighboring homes and killed a dog.

The massive explosion came less than one day after the victims, Theresa Toledo, 74, and her daughter, Angela Toledo, 45, filed a protective order against Angela’s son, Alexander Toledo, 27.

Alexander and his grandma’s boyfriend, 72, sustained severe burns in the explosion and were rushed to a Kansas City burn unit.

In her order filing, Theresa wrote that Alexander lived in her basement and was a drug addict. She noted that he had so many plugged-in devices that would easily ignite.
