A woman’s mutilated and decapitated body that missed its feet and hands was found last Monday morning in Southwest Baltimore by several employees at a sink distributing company, officials announced.
Baltimore police received a call reporting a deceased body on a dead-end street at about 10:30 a.m.
Once there, they found it under a tarp in a recently overgrown area, local media sources reported.
According to the worker who first spotted the mutilated corpse, it “looked like it had been there for a while or someone had recently come and dropped it off.”
“It was very surprising – sort of surreal,” he added.
A homicide investigation is being conducted. As of Wednesday, the woman’s identity and age were not yet determined.
