Kansas authorities have finally located a 40-year-old Kansas man who killed his two teenage sons and abducted his two daughters from the family’s house in Leavenworth.
On Saturday, police responded to Donny Jackson’s home after a relative found the lifeless bodies of his two sons, 14 and 11-year-old, inside.
Authorities filed an arrest warrant for Jackson after his two daughters, aged 7 and 3-year-old, vanished from the same home, according to media outlets.
It was not clear if the boys’ mother was at the home when police arrived. At this time, the cause and manner of their deaths were not determined.
Jackson who had previous issues and ‘dealings” with authorities was located along with the girls in Erik near the Texas border shortly after 12:30 p.m.
He was transferred to the Beckham County prison and is set to be extradited to Kansas.
Police are currently trying to contact Jackson’s wife so they could reunite her with the girls.
