A 9-month-old North Dakota boy was starved to death and his three siblings tested positive for meth, police said.

According to the US Attorney’s Office, the children’s 26-year-old mother, Paige Wolf, is facing criminal charges including manslaughter and child abuse following the death of her infant, Karson Wolf.

On June 24, police found Karson unconscious at his mother’s home. He was pronounced dead shortly after the paramedics’ arrival.

Autopsy results showed he has passed away from chronic starvation.
