Florida Police have arrested a serial bank robber on his way for a sixth raid only to discover that he actually is a Miami attorney.
41-year-old Aaron Honaker now stands accused of at least five robberies or attempted robberies in South Florida.
He was busted Tuesday heading to a TD Bank. He was reportedly armed with a hammer.
Upon his arrest, Honaker admitted he was planning another strike. But what stunned detectives the most, was that the thief is an attorney and a member of the Florida Bar.
He was working for the Coral Gables-based company of Martinez Morales before vanishing two years ago.
The Wake Forest School of Law graduate is being represented by a federal public colleague who will try to grant him release on bond during a Friday hearing.
