Manhattan teen, 13, fell to death from 20th-floor balcony; leaving puzzling message

According to a spokesperson for the New York Police Department, a 13-year-old boy has passed away early Monday after falling from the balcony of his family’s 20th-floor house.

The tragedy took place near 400 W. 43rd St. in Hell’s Kitchen in Manhattan at about 6 a.m.

Paramedics found the shirtless teen dead from serious fall injuries on the sidewalk.

Authorities later identified him as Matthew Pierre.

    At this time, it was not confirmed if the case is being investigated as a suicide. Even though, reports said that Pierre’s computer contained enigmatic writings.

    “It’s just a tragedy. But I’m wondering how he fell because our terraces are high,” neighbor Mary Smith told news outlets.

    “He’s very young. I don’t think there are any words. It’s bad.”
