Michigan authorities have arrested a 42-year-old man accused of attacking three black teens at a local parking lot with a bike lock.

Lee Mouat was charged with federal hate crimes for shouting slurs at the three juvenile victims at the Sterling State Park because they were playing loud music.

“This is my beach, N-word,” as he approached the group before attacking them with the lock, causing one of them to sustain serious head injuries and teeth loss.

Several witnesses recalled hearing Mouat using racial slurs and threatening the teens. He reportedly said, “These (expletive) are playing gang music; I wish someone would say something to me so I can beat them; I’ll bash their heads; Black lives don’t matter…”

The injured teen was treated for facial fractures, bruises, and lost teeth, according to the Department of Justice.
