Ohio authorities are investigating recent social media posts that hint to a murder-suicide that occurred on Wednesday at a Lima home.
Mikki Starr, 27, and Zachary Starr, 29, were a young married couple with children.
They were very active on social media until the day they were found dead inside their residence.
Investigators believe Zachary shot his wife dead before turning the gun on himself. The motive behind the incident remains unclear.
“We had information from family members that there were some social media messages that gave us the indication that’s what we’re probably looking at right now,” Detective Sgt. Jason Garlock said.
Many social media posts have been found on the decedents’ accounts supporting the murder-suicide hypothesis. Their children were not mentioned by investigation sources.
