A Milwaukee man was walking along a local beach on Tuesday when he found a square package foiled in aluminum and decided to open it.
Jimmy Senda said that it was curiosity that led him to unpack the package that seemed mysterious to him and discovered something that he at first thought was a chicken breast.
“I don’t really know how to explain it, it didn’t register…I was just like, ‘What is this?’” Senda said.
“I came across this square package, wrapped in aluminum foil, and around it, it had a pink rubber band.”
“Curiosity got to me, so I popped it open and it looked like a chicken breast – kind of. It took a little bit for it to really (register) of what was going on; it was a brain.”
Inside the box, flowers and paper with Mandarin characters were also discovered. The brain is likely not human, according to investigators.
Senda is awaiting an official identification from the Racine County Medical Examiner’s office.
