Authorities announced the arrest of a 60-year-old man that they consider a person of interest in the gruesome murder of a Michigan poker player found dead on July 13.
33-year-old Susie Zhao was a professional poker player known as Susie Q. Zhao who traveled across states before moving back to Michigan earlier last month to be close to her family and friends.
Zhao was found burned near Pontiac Lake State Recreational Area by two witnesses heading to work. Police believed she was murdered the night before and said she appeared to wear a jogging suit.
Police said that the suspect was arrested during a traffic stop and a search of his car was conducted. His identity and relationship with Zhao weren’t immediately revealed.
