Norton news, Ohio news.

Summit County authorities have sentenced a Norton woman and her daughter to six years behind bars after they pleaded guilty to felonious assault nearly a year ago.

Linda Snow and Jennifer Clark stole a cart full of food from Acme Market on August 16. When a store employee confronted them in the parking lot, they let three pit bulls out to attack the woman.

Snow and Clark had admitted to the aggravated robbery and assault charges. Prosecutors dropped some of the counts standing against them as part of a plea deal including child endangerment as an 11-year-old boy was inside their vehicle when they committed the crime.

“The victim suffered significant physical injuries because of the attack,” Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh said.
