US news, US news.

On Monday, the World Health Organization, the universal health agency said it is willing to see President Trump cooperating with them and not following through with his decisions to cut ties between the United States and the WHO.

In Geneva, on Monday, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that the collaboration and the engagement of the United States engendered many benefits for the world as a whole. The director added that the US government's generosity towards global health has always been important and made a huge difference in public health all around the world.

Tedros Ghebreyesus admitted that Trump's decision will indeed impact the health agency's operations if the President ever decided to stop the relationship in addition to halting the funding.

On Friday, President Trump announced that the US will end its relationship with WHO, a move he has threatened throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
