Taylor Swift has joined many celebrities who reacted to the gut-wrenching death of George Floyd as the singer grew more angered by President Trump’s threatening tweets against protesters:
“These Thugs are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the military is with all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!”
Swift replied: “After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? We will vote you out in November.”
Many stars had shared their anguish and mourned Floyd including Cardi B, actress Tracee Ellis Ross, Justin Bieber, and actor Dan Levy.
