New York news, US news.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said that his city has adopted measurements in place that may trigger an urgent need to step back from the restart and reapply restrictions.

De Blasio said that if his city stays below some specific thresholds, it will keep heading towards the reopening. However, if the city heads above the thresholds, then people will be warned and actions will be taken immediately to ensure that New York contains the situation.

The Mayor added that if the thresholds are exceeded in the wrong way, then he among the city's bodies will take a step back from where they are right now.

The city will monitor several indicators, from which we can cite: The percent of people who test positive for COVID-19c must be under a 15% threshold, the daily number of people admitted to hospitals for suspected COVID-19 should be under a 200 threshold, and the daily number of people in Health and Hospitals intensive care units has to be under a 375 threshold.
