An 18-year-old Ohio runaway has been located safely nearly a week after she went missing launching a statewide search operation.
Madison Bell disappeared May 17 after telling her mom she was going to a tanning salon. In a nearby parking lot, her vehicle was found abandoned with keys in the ignition. Now authorities say that Bell has left her family home “to start a new life.” She was found safe and has been reunited with her relatives who issued a statement:
“We ask that the public and media respect our privacy during this difficult time while we are emotionally raw. We are just relieved to know Maddie is alive and not in physical danger. Every single effort to find Maddie has touched us and we appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.”
