US news.

A survey of 2,000 Americans revealed that two-thirds of them had gained weight since they have been in home isolation because of the coronavirus pandemic.

While 65 percent of the surveyed people said that they reduced their exercise routine and “let themselves go a bit,” half others admitted they completely abandoned their healthy lifestyle. These people believe they would need eight weeks at least to retrieve their original shape.

The lack of exercise isn’t the only reason behind the increase of weight, many of the surveyed, a third, confessed to alcohol consumption’s increase and 46 percent neglected the diet consuming more fatty food.

The situation isn’t all bad since many fitness observers ordered workout equipment such as Dumbbells and yoga mats, reviving the workout accessories market.
