A doctor has been caught attacking a group of girls who weren’t respecting the social distancing on a video that went viral over the past weekend.

John Rademaker, a middle-aged doctor, was placed on leave and charged with strangulation and harassment after he assaulted the teens, grabbing one of them violently by the neck because they were not practicing social distancing.

“Obviously, we do not advise individuals concerned about social distancing to take matters into their own hands and confront people about it, especially in any physical way,” police said.

The incident came as “quarantine shaming” confrontations start to turn violent. Rademaker was released on his own recognizance on Tuesday.
