An Anchorage man has been arrested after he allegedly shot dead his sister because she unfriended him on Facebook.
According to the Anchorage Police Department, 27-year-old Moses Tony Crowe was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of his 23-year-old sister Amanda Rose Owen that occurred on Thanksgiving.
Police responded to the scene at around 3:14 p.m. to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to her upper body. She died shortly after being rushed to a hospital.
The suspect's grandmother who witnessed the incident give investigators details about the murder claiming that the suspect shot his sister while she held her 1-year-old son because she blocked him on Facebook.
Crowe insisted during the investigation that the shooting was accidental.
