Ohio authorities are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found with several stab wounds on the side of a road in Toledo.
According to a Lucas County coroner, the woman has been identified as 30-year-old Michelle Keagler. She was stabbed two dozen times with some defensive wounds. Authorities believe that the weapon that was used in the stabbing was a large knife.
Toledo officers have found Keagler around 8 a.m. on Saturday near Interstate 75. A truck driver has reportedly called 911 to report a person lying on the side of the road.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner's office is yet to release a final ruling on her cause of death.
