A 21-year-old man has been sentenced to 70 years behind bars for the double homicide of two teens back in June 2018.

Terrance Mason Jr., of Milwaukee, has pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree reckless homicide for the killings of Frank Cardona, 18, and Dejah Adkins, 16. The events unfolded during a planned robbery when the suspect was sitting next to Cardona and a mutual friend, Kevon Barnes, 18. The latter shot Cordona in the chest prompting him to run away and hide. Mason reportedly slaughtered him and Adkins using another group member's gun. He told authorities he shot the two victims in the head.

Barnes has pleaded not guilty to the first-degree reckless homicide charge.
