Father leaves infant to die in hot car, goes buy marijuana from friend

An Arizona father had been arrested along with his friend after he allegedly left his infant daughter unattended inside a hot vehicle and went to buy marijuana which resulted in her death.

23-year-old Ty Martin was charged with manslaughter after he allegedly left his daughter for "45 minutes to an hour" and went visiting Noah Grabowski, 23, who was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and cultivation of marijuana.

"This incident is tragic for everyone involved and completely avoidable," police stated. "The Lake Havasu City Police Department would like to remind everyone that it is never acceptable to leave a child unattended inside of a motor vehicle."

Both Martin and Grabowski were held without bond.
