Texas man admits to killing flight attendant, dumping body off bridge

A Texas man was arrested on murder charges after he allegedly confessed to killing a missing flight attendant and dumping her body off a bridge.

Rana Nofal Soluri, 47, went missing last March. Her coworker reported her missing on June 11, telling cops their last phone conversation ended abruptly on March 19.

Police questioned Soluri’s housemate, 66-year-old Dennis William Day, multiple times, and he denied any involvement in her disappearance.

  • Detectives searched the home Soluri and Day shared and reviewed video surveillance that showed Day dragging “what appears to be a lifeless body from the home into the backyard.”

    After confronting Day with the video evidence, he reportedly admitted that he “snapped” and strangled Soluri to death before dragging her to the backyard.

    He then detailed how he put the body in a trash bin and tossed it over a Bowie area bridge.

    Police are still looking for Soluri’s remains. In a statement, her employer, Envoy Air Inc., mourned her tragic demise and shared their deepest sympathies with her loved ones.
