Las Vegas news, Nevada news.

A slain journalist’s body was found in a crate at a storage business where his suspected murderer had reportedly dropped him off earlier this week.

Matthew Scott Keleman was found dead Wednesday after workers at the facility noted a foul odor emanating from the box.

Police said Keleman’s roommate, 63-year-old Joseph Del Rivo, dropped off the box on Monday after making arrangements with the facility through an app and told managers someone would pick the box up later this week.

Following the grisly discovery of Keleman’s body, police named Del Rivo a suspect in his death and located his car in Utah, where a pursuit unfolded late Tuesday and ended with a deadly rollover crash.

Keleman was planning to move out of the home he shared with his alleged killer.

“He’d only lived there for about six months, but he kept telling my brother what a strange guy this was,” she said about her late brother.

“He said he was really uneasy living there. ‘The guy was a disgusting slob’, were his words. Matt said, ‘OK, I’m going to tell him. I’m just worried about how he’s going to react.”
