An Arizona man allegedly admitted to killing his wife, whose body was found in the backseat of a car he was driving last week.
Alison Gregory, 41, went missing on Wednesday after she failed to pick up a relative from the airport.
Her body was found wrapped in carpeting in the backseat of Brandon Gregory’s car in Wikieup.
The man admitted to beating Alison to death with a baseball bat during a fight at their home.
He claimed the victim first kicked him in the groin while holding the bat, which he took from her.
Alison’s family said she and the 56-year-old suspect had been going through a tough divorce for nearly a year.
“He lied and manipulated his way back into her life,” Alison’s brother said. “She uncovered more lies, lie after lie.”
“The guy’s entire life has been a life. He’s a manipulator and a murderer. We ask that you deny any bond and don’t even let him out again.”
