A New Jersey mother has been charged in connection with the death of her infant son, whom she unintentionally crushed while moving a car on Saturday.

Wendy Castillo-Torres, 30, was reportedly washing cars on a friend’s driveway at around 6 p.m.

The mother placed her 10-month-old son in a bouncer seat between two cars while she washed the vehicles.

“Our investigation indicates that this is a tragic accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time,” Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.

The baby died from his injuries. Detectives learned that Castillo-Torres did not have a license and charged her with causing death while driving without a valid driver’s license.
