A Florida woman was arrested this week in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man at a senior living facility.
Carol Carroll, 68, is facing murder charges in the death of 73-year-old Robert Tucker, who was found with multiple stab wounds at Morris Manor Apartments on Tuesday.
Police followed a trail of blood from the victim to a specific unit in the building where they arrested Carroll.
After reviewing evidence, investigators linked Carroll to the murder. She and the victim reportedly knew each other.
A bloodied small rag and a knife were recovered from the apartment. Blood splatters were also noticed on the living room and bedroom floor.
Tucker’s sons told police he had been staying at the woman’s unit since coming down to Jacksonville three months ago.
