A woman who had been living in terror since separating from her husband posted a chilling premonition on Facebook just weeks before he killed her and himself on Monday.
Indiana del Socorro Guzman Mendoza, 32, was gunned down by her 61-year-old ex-husband Reynaldo Sandoval, who then took his own life outside the Del Toro Insurance building where the woman worked.
“Whatever happens to me, he is responsible. There is a report made by local police here in the U.S.,” the victim posted on Facebook.
The couple separated six months ago after nine years of marriage. Sandoval had reportedly been stalking and harassing Mendoza and was even arrested for violating a domestic violence injunction earlier this month.
“On February 6, he broke down the door at four in the morning. He was choking her, left bruises on her face, and had bruises all over her body,” the victim’s sister said.
“He was looking for a knife to kill her right then, but she managed to run out of the house.”
“He wasn’t a real man, that he made the decision because he didn’t think about his family or my mother, and that he knew he was going to kill her.”
