A person of interest is being interviewed by police in central Georgia after the bodies of four people were found inside a Perry home Saturday evening.
Police said the victims were related to each other and ranged in age from 2 to 82.
They were reportedly stabbed to death before their bodies were discovered on Saturday evening at a residence at the Timberline Mobile Home Park.
Police said the murders were carried out by a person who knew the family and had a prior relationship with one of those killed.
“There is a lot of evidence that we’re having to analyze and filter through,” said Perry Police Capt. Jason Jones.
“Right now, we haven’t charged anybody, but we’re continuing to take steps to get closer to that.”
The Perry Police Department described the quadruple homicide as an “isolated incident” insisting that there was no “active danger to the Perry community.”
