Wigmaker with suspended license fatally crashes into family in Brooklyn killing mom, 2 daughters

A New York City wigmaker struck and killed a mother and her two daughters in a horrific crash Saturday afternoon.

Miriam Yarimi, 32, had a suspended license but still drove her Audi into the family as they crossed over Ocean Parkway in Midwood, Brooklyn.

Yarimi first crashed into an Uber, pushing the vehicle aside, and continuing into the sidewalk, she hit the family-of-four.

The 35-year-old mother and her two daughters, ages 6 and 8, were killed. A 4-year-old boy survived but is listed in critical condition.

  • Online records showed that Yarimi’s Audi had amassed over 93 traffic violations and $10,000 in fines.

    A witness said the crash sounded like an “earthquake”.

    “I quickly ran, called 911, reported it in there. There was emergency Hatzalah there on the scene within two minutes of that phone call, they came in there,”

    “They performed CPR on the lady. There was another kid right next to that…and they did CPR on them.”

    “There was a little boy did the CPR, and hopefully they got a pulse on him. Just really ugly scene.”
