Plane bursts into flames after crashing into Minnesota home

A small plane crashed into a Minnesota home Saturday afternoon, killing everyone onboard, officials said.

The single-engine plane and the home burst into flames after the crash that occurred in a residential Brooklyn Park neighborhood at around 12:30 p.m.

The Fire Department said that all occupants of the plane were killed. The home was, fortunately, empty at the time of the crash.

  • Officials said the aircraft was a SOCATA TBM7 business jet that departed from Des Moines International Airport heading to Minneapolis.

    “Ten minutes ago, this house was still there,” a witness said as he filmed a video of the incident.

    The crash remains under ongoing investigation.
